Is van living a meme? How can people manage to do this on a long-term

I want to try it yes. Seems comfy being an nomad. I would NOT do it in a tiny ass van though, atleast a medium or longer RV or camper

I work at a gas station and there's an elderly gentleman who lives in his van and has been doing so for the last 12 years. He's really nice and pretty awesome to chat to, shout him his coffees every once and a while.

He works as a tradie, labourer or whatever other odd job he can get.
