How do you become a cute boy without HRT? Especially if you're hairy? HRT does loads of small things as well as just giving you breasts, such as making your hair nicer, changing your scent, making your skin softer, decreasing muscle mass, helping you move more gracefully and rounding out your features making you more cute, if you don't want breasts you can take a SERM instead of a estrogen in your HRT and become a qtfemboy pretty easily.

I mean, a lot of these things can be replicated without HRT, but it'd be exhausting, expensive and time consuming. On top of all this, only HRT can stop you from aging like a man. If you don't take HRT your go bald, grow even bigger and hairier and generally look completely disgusting.

I don't have the studies or the evidence at hand, but the explanation I've heard was that the amount of foods you'd need to consume in order to reach the levels required to induce feminising effects would be so great that your liver would die, on top of all this, unless you can get rid of the testosterone, your estrogen cannot bind to your receptors as much, thus stagnating most of the feminising effects anyway.
