>IT major

lmao wtf is a IT major you mean computer science right?
>majoring in IT
dude, just go outside and work. Instead of spending 40k, you'll be MAKING 40k.
I'll be blind.
Fuck my life.

Why would someone go to college to major in IT
IT is trade school shit, you can literally just get a few certifications online and get a job
>>37367392
Same way anyone makes it in this world

n-no its information tech
>>37367453
wat even is IT
>>37367392
>not working on a project so that you have something to show for 2 - 3 years of school
>not networking and lining up connections so you can secure a job after graduation
>not bothering to learn more about the IT related field you want to work in
Start filling out apps for collection agencies and call centers and some data entry because that's all you are gonna get desu
>>37367460
why would they even offer that why would you even choose to study that when you can go for computer science
>>37367460

>>37367549

>>37367576
So you're just an undergrad. give it a few more years then come back with actual results
>>37367392
Same here OP I figure I'm just going to run this cycle until I graduate and then I expect to never find a job afterwards then probably have a fight with my parents over it but hopefully come out a NEET on the other side or dead
>>37367392
It's like you WANT to be poor
>>37367681
Im starting to hear that employers are looking for experienced people right off the bat. You could try an internship or consider looking further
>>37367681
dude, just go OUTSIDE!
even working at best buy is better.
>>37367392
I'm majoring in IT right now and still have 2 years left. Currently working in the universities IT department for $15/hr 25 hours a week while I go to school. It's excellent experience that will hopefully catapult me into a better job upon graduation.
