Traveling Ameriburger here, frog is basically like bad fishy poultry, snails are like little bits of flavorless gristle (even thought the sauce they come in is top-tier and good for dipping your bread).
Try that one thing that's like a little meatloaf wrapped in cabbage instead.

Also- sandwiches in convenience/corner shops are surprisingly good, they have brie and chutney and all that good shit.

yay i live in paris anon :) well there is plenty or restaurants everywhere but if there is something you have to try it s a "boulangerie" (where we sell bread) and take a tasty homemade cake from there
