Because they know they are inferior. In terms of looks literally the master race is white men and asian women. There is no competing.

I am white and find them kind of repulsive, even though the Asian girls at my old job seemed to adore me. If a white man is dating an Asian woman, he is either a fucking sperg who can't attract white women and thinks Asian women are "superior", or he is dating massively down. Asian women who date white guys are doing it for money, or because they want pretty little hapa daughters (not sons), or because they fell for porn memes.

I can't blame Asian men for disliking WM/AF couples, because it's kind of a shared delusion about the value of the partners.
