This is why I never talk about my endless thoughts of hopelessness and meaninglessness. It seems like it's something everyone thinks about and then gets over, and you're called a stupid teenage or baby's first existential crisis or whatever, but I just can't get past it. It's been years and I'm still paralysed by these unshakable nihilistic thoughts and it terrifies and makes sick to my stomach, but I can't talk about it because people just go straight to "nihilism is baby's first philosophy"
I don't fucking care, I'm not thinking like this because I think it's fucking edgy or cool, I just can't rationalise it, I don't know how people go on with their lives. Empty phrases like "life is what you make of it" don't help, they just fucking frustrate me. They say to go research other philosophies, but they all sound like coping methods the same way as religion
