I've got 7 and it's not working

I've had enough cats.
They can teach me nothing more of their surreptitious ways.
Nor would I accept a dog to me which is an attention whore.
If I get a pet again, perhaps it will be a domesticated rat.

I have one. He's nice, and when I'm in the shitter he curls up to my chest in bed.
