Everyone hypes up Tupac so much, but I always feel disappointed listening to him because of my huge expectations. What can I listen to that really exemplifies why he's held in such high regard?

It's the way he puts energy into the words. I find his rhythm beautiful. Two of my recommendations are

Soon as I get home.

These aren't those hyped up songs, but I find them really good for exactly that reason.

Ces Cru is a group that has a lot of laid back songs, they're great to listen to while just chilling and smoking or something.

Check out Royce's work on Bad Meets Evil, he's one of the only rappers I've seen that can best Em on his own tracks.

As for Chance, I think everyone on her loves Acid Rap.
