Aircraft engineer.
53k salary
I don't care about my standing in society or others opinions. I just do what makes me happy and stop if I'm ever unhappy
>retail
>11.50/h
I don't even think about it
Nonspecific government agency
$36,000/yr, will probably get raise to $40k this year
It's ok

This triggers me deeply. Good one OP!
Civil Engineer, around 60K a year. I wish I could be a NEET but gotta pay off my house somehow.
>Drive a truck on local deliveries for a production company
>$28/hr
>It really doesn't matter dawg. The ppl who look down on u are more often than not just petty "professionals" in make-work jobs. They'll all squeal like little piggies when the revolution comes.

Security Guard

I curl up with the cat and some blankets on the couch with some ice cream and watch Buffy and TNG and pretend I'm still a kid in the 90's.
Being a wageslave sucks but I was just a hair short of 60k last year. I cope with lots of alcohol and trying not to think about it. I hope to retire early and join my neet brothers. Cuck life is shit.
>>37221463
Well you gotta know where I live to. 53k here gives me the same lifestyle as if I was making over 6figures anywhere else. My house payments, insurance, 2 2017 cars (charger and mini van) and food, gas, electric costs me about 1200 a month. So I pay all my bills within a week of work. Rest of my money is just profit for me and the wifey
>>37221463
That's just engineers. The mechanics start around $90k at FedEx. By the time they retire they're making $150-170k. Some of that's overtime but they are paid nicely enough.
>>37221414
>non knowing what a wageslave is
If you are working for money and not financially independent you're a wageslave. Is this your first wagie thread?

Tell me about it. I ragequit my desk job earlier this month. I'm on a wait list for a machinist apprenticeship. Just couldn't take anymore. After four years of college, and three years of establishing a government career, I'm starting from the bottom again. I'll do it happily.

In my area mechanics get 32k starting and around 50k by the time they retire
Cost of living is cheap as shit
>>37220873
Would you guys consider things like HVAC or plumbing wageslave tier? Getting into an apprenticeship pretty soon and the pay isn't too bad (in America at least) and I live in an area where the cost of living isn't too high. Plus I'm planning on going commercial and there's plenty of variety there.
>>37221749
Pretty much in here anything that isn't welfare is wage slave. Doesn't matter how big the pay check if you work at all then you fall under wage slave category

35k is below average. What's so doubtful about that.
>>37221749
100% just like being a physician, prostitute, or burger flipper. Wageslave is about how needing to work for money, not what you do.
HVAC or plumbing is pretty cool, but I'd want to do fiber optic or electricity. Plumbing probably lends itself best to entrepreneur shit. Everyone is too dumb these days to shut off water and plug in a sink so you can rob them blind while they nod and hand over their card.

tsa pussy
>>37222063
How do you live on that much? Isn't joinery skilled trade type stuff? That's like 15usd/day.
>>37222371
2 other friends and I share a place. Luckily it's cheap, but the landlords still live on property and they get petty from time to time. Like unplug the internet cable and small shit like that. Think they want us out so they can charge more to the next people I dunno. If you're qualified in something I think it'll count as trade skill, but I'm still just a general worker. But I got a forklift license through them. So that's kinda nice.

>>37221526
Lying piece of shit. A mortgage and 2 2017 cars payments are at least $1500 alone.
Unless you live in shitsville where a house cost less than 1k and had a leases in cars...but I rather live in a nice city and high rent 1bedrokm than shittown. And leasing vas s throwing money away, Lawl
>>37222570
Again depends on where you live. If cost of living is cheap then you get paid less. I live in a 3bd 2ba home with 15acres. Paying a 30 year note I make minimum 400 a week on it then 2 car payments and all my expenses are about 800. I pay our all in one week of work. Wife is a home maker
>>37220873
How do I cope with being the garbage of society.
By putting as little effort as possible in my job, by not being any help to customers, by spending all my free time in my shit apartment on my old ass laptop.
>>37222710
You probably live in a shitty place to be that cheap.
>>37222298
Only problem is the lead poisoning and the exposure to 'spestus
>>37222794
Guess depends on what you consider shitty. It's a low population area so cost of living is low, no traffic, home town events all the time like city wide car shows and amusement parks and parades. Everyone knows everyone. It's a nice simple life style compared to a big city. But if you need alot of people in your life and you like alot socializing then you wouldn't wanna live in a small town.
