>med student
>get into conversation with some other student
>he says he has to study 24/7 but is managing perfect grades
>was quite impressed, asked him what he studies
>tells me "eIectricaI engineering"
>mfw
>wonder if he was being serious about his degree being hard
>turns out he was
>instantIy lose respect for him
I assume there's a few engineering students on here, so I'm actually curious. Do you guys actualIy think your degree is difficult or are you at the stage where you realise anyone could do it?
welcome back medbro. why did you stop posting this pasta in the first place?
engineers need to know their place
>Look mom I posted it again
Hows my lunch look?
Try to guess what it is.
>thinking you're superior for remembering something from one textbook over another
Wow if only I was a spoiled little bitch and mum and dad would pay for me to get an overpaid non-job that contributes nothing (people will die no matter how good you are get over yourself)

It really is a degree for dumbasses. I started out majoring in electrical engineering but switched once I realized how fucking simple both the material and my peers were. Started studying medicine, which actually proved to be a decent challenge, and I'm graduating soon.
Do not major in electrical engineering unless you are a brainlet. You WILL be bored to shit otherwise.
>>37212413
Engineering is just rote memorization.
Medicine is also just rote memorization, arguably more complicated.
Mathematics, though, is truly creative AND difficult. Neither of these two degrees even compare.
false equivalence, one is a graduate professional degree and the other is an undergraduate degree
comparing the two is stupid
also I fucking hate seeing that guy's face
>>37212525
enginering is not just memorization
>>37212590
i forgot it's for virginity
>>37212525
*tips fedora*
were u euphoric in that moment too?
>>37212475
triggered brainlet
holy kekkoroni
>>37212817
only a brainlet would need a medfag. It's called taking care of yourself and using common sense to not put yourself in harms way. Medical bills are a stupid people tax to stay in the gene pool.
>>37212634
lol that's a meme
are you a ME student too anon?
>>37212851
No. I step on them daily.
>>37212855
>No. I step on them daily.
Please step on me
>>37212413
Is this the new manlet meme?
P's get degrees, anything over 51% is a waste of your time
>>37212843
Id like to see you perform self surgery
>>37212843
This. I haven't been to the doctors in 10 years, and I can't even remember the last time I've been to the dentist's office. Don't you fools see the medical jew is just a way for the system to fleece you? As long as you eat a good diet, stay out of danger, and brush your teeth every day, you will NEVER need to see a doctor or a dentist.
dumbfag here. what's so easy about electrical engineering?
>>37212954
EE is mainly just really annoying math and pompous physics. where I was, they were the normies, along with ME. computer engineering best engineering
>>37213190
thanks for the explanation
ancient pasta is ancient
You are all but ants in the eyes of a true king. Bow medfags and engineering fags alike for you are in the presence of one who studies Actuarial Mathematics.
>>37212413
>>med student
>>get into conversation with some other student
>>electrical engineering
what? do you go to some trash med school that also offers undergrad?
Sounds like you wanted an easymode med school
>>37212927
Won't need to. You guys wanna take more of my tax money to NOT cure shit and let people die? What a waste of space medcucks are. Could do something useful like plumbing.
Lol try comparing your trash tier bullshit to something as ingenious as the Shannon Nyquist sampling theorem. Oh yeah hurr Durr it's so difficult I have to memorize everything. Fuck off, you're just salty you can't even understand basic math you faggot.
Plus everyone on 4chan thinks they're smart just because they have no other redeemable qualities
In levels of logical reasoning ability
Electrical engineering >>>>>>>>>>>>> med Normies
>>37213270
You've been outdone. Pure math honors
>>37212413
So I did both computer science and biosci dual major and went to medical school. Now practicing both.
Personally I think both are really difficult, but in different ways. I find I use different parts of my brain for each, but my engineering side helped me understand biological processes better than someone who just memorizes. I am able to make deduction easier than others because of it. I don't practice cookbook medicine like most docs.
To answer the specific q regarding EE, I think it's just as hard as the hardcore CS I studied, maybe even a little harder.
>>37212413
Why the fuck would you want to do anything hard for a shitty salary and a giant loan? Stop bragging, you're no better.
>>37212413
Engineering is hard, but at least there are bachelor's programs that last less than two years.
I don't know why anyone would cuck themselves with over a decade of school.
>>37212515
Yeah there's few people in my cohort who started in EE. After the first year the ones with a respectable amount of brain cells drop out and move to more intelligent subjects.
>>37212441
Busy with rotations.
>>37212843
>in a restaurant
>guy starts choking
>his wife jumps up and screams "DON'T WORRY. HE'S TAKEN CARE OF HIMSELF AND USED COMMON SENSE TO REMOVE HEALTH ISSUES"
>he dies
>I fuck his wife
Man this is some /b/ or /soc/ shit
Is this place really this normal now?
>>37213768
>ancient pasta practically synonymous with r9k
>calls it /soc/ shit
how long have you been here? 3 months? lol
>>37213768
>newfag doesn't recognize medfag threads
Its been /b/2.0 for years

It's been a year buddy
>>37213838
mate I wrote that shit like 2 years ago
https://desuarchive.org/r9k/thread/23489488/ October 2015 but I remember doing it start of my 2nd year of med which was more than 2 years ago
