Ask for this specifically anon, go to a decent barbers, black barbers are actually pretty good for normie cuts, try and get a barber recommended to you by any normies you know because a good barber can turn you from a 4 to a 6 or even a 7. Ask for a skin fade and a little off the top and you literally can't do wrong at all, get your hair shaped up too ask for it shaping and I guarantee you will be happy with the end result,

I used to be a sperg about going to the barber, and still am, but I just say "Short on the side and back, a bit longer on top. I don't like too short".

Then I try no to look the guy in the eye for the entire process, up to paying them.

Most barbers prefer to work without talking, but sometimes normies won't tip if they think a barber is "cold" to them. Just answer their small talk curtly, they'll take the hint, and you'll both be happier for it. Don't be an asshole.

A very reliable strat is to do some googling and find a hairstyle you like, save the picture on your phone and show it to them when you get there.

Make sure the person in the picture's hair is similar enough to yours that the same cut can be done. Ie. curly/wavy/straight, how it falls, thick/thin

Just look up "guys short hair cuts" or something and browse

Right now I'm rocking a faded combover with a part because I got tired of my hair being short. My hair is insanely thick and course but straight, so I'm thinking about going back to my regular shape up with a taper fade.
