Have you properly and proportionately spiced it?
>>
You've only been at it for a month, keep trying
>>
>>37185859
Large amounts of spices. Cook slowly or cut into pieces.

Doesn't bland chicken taste good enough for you to eat?

I mean, keep learning how to cook. Keep improving, that's good. But you'll be okay eating chicken with stupid bullshit like a little BBQ sauce, or some salt and pepper in the meantime, won't you?
>>
>>37186281
>i normally follow the recipe strictly measuring everything, so im pretty sure im using enough spices.
Don't do this. Just experiment nigga. I assume you're trying to cut back on salt, so just fuck it up with pepper, garlic, and onion.

Restaurant chicken tastes good because they either
1. Fry it
Or

2. Cook it in a pan with other delicious food
Or

3. Cover it in butter / oil. Which is probably not want you want to do if you're fatasfatass like me.
>>
>>37186316
honestly the day i make it, its fine and i can eat it. But when i have to reheat it tastes so fucking horrible.
>>
Buy better chicken.
>>
>>37185859
Well first thing is that you shouldn't reheat days old chicken if you want something that tastes good. Just cook enough for whatever meal it is you're making.

Also I don't know what sort of restaurants you go to but you're mentioning little caesars and that other anon is not entirely wrong >>37186346

There are restaurants that make chicken healthy and tasty, but they have their own custom recipes technically.

Personally I just go with coconut oil, a ghost pepper, and freshly-shaved ginger. Ghosts peppers are like the 3rd or 4th hottest peppers in the world, and when it's mixed with protein and oil it's just a nice strong heat and nothing painful like eating the pepper whole and raw.

>in b4 coconut oil is terrible for you

It's not any worse than any other oils for frying, and there is some broscience behind it that shows that it helps with weight loss as well as other afflictions like depression. it also has no cholesterol whatsoever so it's always better than butter.

There's also a whole literal world of spices to experiment with. Spices make food taste good and aren't fattening or bad for you, just the opposite.
>>
>>37186316
There's literally nothing wrong with chicken with just salt and pepper.

This.

Slow cook chicken while covered will prevent drying out and retain moisture. You need to rub oil on it too.
>whole chicken;
Oven at 290 degrees for 3 hours
>smaller parts
Oven at 320 degrees for 2 hours
.all of above varies, always visually asses it's fully cooked and not raw.
.
>this part is gonna suck.
The fat on your body is a result of over intake of sugar and simple carbohydrates, NOT FAT!
That's a meme. Pic related.

I eat microwaved chicken breast almost every day:
1- Place 250g of boneless chicken breast inside a bowl
2- season it (add a little olive oil as well)
3- cover it I with another dish or something so it won't explode all over your microwave
4- let it microwave for 2 minutes.
5- turn it over and microwave it for 3 more minutes and you're done.

If you want to get fancy, break an egg or two inside the bowl before step 5. You might need an extra minute of cooking.

Buy the rotisserie chicken from the grocery store that is already cooked.

That shit's always good and it's like 6 bucks for a whole chicken.

Don't give up on the /fit/ life fat man. It is only hard for a while, but you will eventually enjoy exercise and healthy food.
>>

>6 bucks for a whole chicken.
You're mostly paying for bone. Those chickens barely have any meat.

Not in my experience, I mean they aren't massive but you can easily get two meals out of them if you have a side dish.
>>
never forget
the easy way out

>>37186723
Maybe. I'm a fat fuck, and half for one meal isn't enough for me.

m-mac N cheese?
>THIS IS NOT MAC N CHEESE, THIS IS MAC N SHIT!
>>
>>37186938
You gotta have a side dish with it. I normally make a small salad and put the chicken in it.
>>
>>37186960
i don't eat enough salads so i'll try that but still, fuck those chickens. it's cheaper in the long run to buy and cook raw. thighs seem to be the best deal for me.

Lift/throw/pull/drag/push heavy shit (sandbags/concrete/tires/etc).
Once you start gaining even 3-4 pounds of muscle, metabolism increases.
>>
>>37186576
>>37186605

I meant 150g, but nope, it gets well cooked In just about 5 minutes. Easiest meal prep ever. Microwaved eggs also taste delicious.

Uh no coconut oil is very very bad for you. Has more saturated fat than butter.
>>
>>37187431
Most of those of saturated fats are actually medium-chain triglyceride which does a science thing and actually helps you burn calories.

Saturaded fat is also good for you, it raises the good cholesterol.

shit better be organic
>>
>>37185859
I know that feel. I usually just end up eating microwavable/oven shit every day. Cooking sucks. I'm also a skeleton and hate eating and am on medication that dulls my appetite so it's even worse.
