What society deems as moral is not based in any kind of objectivity. What's moral tends to be whatever just so happens that the majority of people agree with.

The issue with "acceptance" of all these sexualities and habits and desires and life choices is that it's just whatever goes.

The modern progressives condemn the elderly for having a disliking towards gays even though that's just how they think. In their mind, homosexuality is just a wrong thing and they don't see how the young people disagree. Things will forever change but what we're seeing is accelerated progressivism that seeks to change things as fast as possible for the sake of change and supposed moral good. What this has led to is many people who supported acceptance for blacks who don't accept homosexuals. Then you have people who accept homosexuals but don't accept transgenders. In the future you'll have people who advocated trans acceptance that will hold prejudice against bestiality. The bestiality advocates will discriminate against pedophiles.... It's a never ending cycle.

The modern progressive haven't created a slippery slope, they have created a sheer cliff as the logic they use to justify what's moral enables pretty much anything EXCEPT dissent towards progressive policies.

This isn't sustainable though and as fundamentally shared values continue to erode at an accelerated rate. If values aren't shared then a society will create enemies within itself and progress in non-moral areas will slow. Inevitably the society will break apart or possibly a collective will amass with shared values that then wages war.

The reason why even hebephilia is so widely condemned in the west is because of a few reasons:
1. The traditional Christian values have a distate for sex and have been working for centuries to increase the period that children stay pure.
2. Point 1 intersected with the feminist movement that had the opinion that relationships and marriage were oppressive to women and needed to be avoided. These feminists realised that they could encourage young people to have sex and tried to remove the notion of virginity or abstinence. They realised that if they restricted older men from preying on younger women then these women would have a greater period to be free from oppressive relationship structures. I personally believe that today this has gone so far because the progressives realise that if they encourage young people to engage in 'immoral' acts then they're going to be more receptive to their politics later in life. What young girl is going to support the idea of virginity being attractive if she lost it at 14?
3. The modern conservative is gullible enough to believe that the age of consent protects innocent minds from manipulation and that their daughters aren't having sex. In reality, young people are having sex with no concept of long-term commitment. The age of consent changes this none.

Pedophilia is a seperate issue to hebephilia.
