My high school guidance counselor tried to get me to join the Scarlet and Gay group at the university that I went to, but that one was my fault. I attended a Gay-Straight Alliance meeting with a friend because it was new and we were curious what they actually did.

The only people that ever showed any romantic or sexual interest in me at university were gay men, and I had a couple female friends that I'm fairly certain thought I was gay.
