I am primarily interested in math (algebra), computer science (theoretical cryptography & computational geometry), open source/libre tech, fiction (mostly novels and poems you'd read in English class), art history/architecture. I recently moved from Texas, and I am going to school here and working. All my "friends" ive made, havent gotten fired. The people I meet at school are people with actual lives, like married and veterans and shit so i cant like hang out with them.

I want to go to NYC but its so expensive. Im probably just going to move to Washington, live a few years and smoke alot of weed, and then kill my self.

Good for what? It'll guarantee you a 100-120k job starting if you're decent. It's an incredibly interesting field with tons of applications to every other field. If you're just doing basic webdev or CRUD work you might find it boring. A lot of people hate the amount of math and logic involved too.

I don't know what school you're at but CS is actually pretty difficult for a lot of people who are good at math. But at the same time I know many people who were always bad at math and for whatever reason are great at programming. No way to know for sure without taking the intro class. Just make sure to try your best to do your homework by yourself before asking for help.
