Turn to emulation and you can run plenty of games. I have a single core 1ghz processor coupled with a gpu that has like 128mb of vram, and this is actually great for snes-tier emulation . I can even run stuff like super meat boy and binding of isaac.

Okay. You were running it at 1024x768. You need to look for a method to take it even lower. You need to go down to 648x480, or even lower than that to 480x360. From what I have read in google Grim Dawn uses a simple config file to set window resolution so that should be easy to find and edit.

You may also want to go into the BIOS setting on your computer and turn speedstepping ON. A lot of people turn it off but that actually lowers performance in some cases. And make sure your laptop is plugged in and set to max performance. You may also experiment with disabling hyperthreading and see if improves the framerate of the game.

I think you should be able to see 25 fps with a lower resolution, which is playable.

lol, wrong again. his issue was solved by changing how many cores of his CPU were used to run the game on, by switching it to 1 he was able to run the game smoothly, the same fix just worked for me.
