Who here /nightwalks/
I saw a literal perfect neckbeard. Like cargo shorts, jacket, fedora, and ponytail today on a night walk, probably doing the same autistic shit as me, it was in don mills toronto ontario man if you see this i just wanna say hi, i was wearing pajamas and had no shoes on.
>>37122664
>mom thinks of anything past 8 PM as dangerous so I can't do anything late at night
I'd love to nightwalk though.
>>37122664
>and had no shoes on.
oh, a barefoot walker, how lovely. i do that too but normally just during the day, i get kinda nervous about it when it's darker out and it's harder to see things on the ground.
what's your favorite kind of ground to walk on? do you ever go inside places? when i'm running i usually prefer grass to anything else but walking i also like really smooth concrete. the best though is if you can get into a gas station or something with those linoleum floors, especially next to refrigerators where it's nice and cool. i've been kicked out of places for not wearing shoes though, which was kinda embarrassing.

Not him, but get a job
>walks

>tfw I'm a fat fuck and parents encourage me to go out walking at night
>>37122726
Do you not live at home and leach of your parents?
>>37122664
I took a night drive a while back, and this view from the bridge as I was driving over it was inspiring.
I parked in a nearby lot then took a photo with my phone, then thought it might look neat with the VHS Camera. Turns out that doesn't record light too well so I put it into Photoshop Mix on my phone, then ran it through a glitching app.
I really like this picture, it's aesthetic.
>tfw i live in a small rural place with nothing to do at any time of the day
I used to when i lived in denver, but now i dont.
>>37122664
I stopped doing it after too many bad encounters with assholes driving by and screaming shit or throwing shit. It's extra screwy when they drive by someone else without making a peep and then when they get to you they let loose. Not trying to dissuade other robots from trying it out. It is therapeutic if you don't get fucked with. If you do get fucked with I guess you'll have to use it as motivation to get fitter or something idk
>>37122767
I'm >>37122762 and I have a job.
>>37122788
I'm fat too, but so are my parents.
>>37122844
Do you live in a big city?
About to do mine right now. Going to the nearby car wash and getting some quarters to do laundry tomorrow. Usually pretty uneventful, but the silence is always calming.
>>37122801
bretty comfy desu. unironically liking it.
I do it pretty often, at around 3 or 4am during the week, on week ends there are people outside all night, so there's no point. I live in a huge, but relatively safe city, so at worst I have to deal with homeless guys, dealers trying to sell me stuff, the occasional aggressive prostitute, maybe wannabe thugs but I'm a pretty strong guy. The grocery store next to my apartment is open until 3 am, just I generally by something to drink, walk for a few hours, then go home when the sun comes up. Once in a while I run, too.
>>37123120
Here's a picture I took recently.
>>37122719
grass, after sprinklers have been on so its all wet, especially after walking on rougher pavement its just so soothing
i was on a walk once and this guy teleported in front of me
>>37123132
must be a pretty old city to have alleyways like that.
>>37123136
oh man that does sound nice. some pavement is just painful. you do enough of it to toughen up your feet any? mine are still very soft i think.
>>37123201
I'm from Paris, so yeah. The city was completely transformed in the 19th century, but it's still possible to find glimpses of how it was before.
>>37122664
>i was wearing pajamas and had no shoes on.
You looked more autistic than him, you know that right?
>>37122664
I would nightwalk more often, but my grandma gets paranoid that I'd get raped somewhere
>>37122889
25k people town
>>37122664
>no shoes
What if you step on glass or something, sounds spooky
>>37122664
Bad part of town so I don't go out at night much unless there's a happening outside. I would like to though.
>>37123525
You just dig it out with a needle man. I can't count the number of times I stepped on glass as a kid.
>>37122844
>It's extra screwy when they drive by someone else without making a peep and then when they get to you they let loose.
This is the reason why I don't walk outside desu.
>back when I was still in school
>walking home
>car slows down once it's close to me
>four guys crammed in this tiny car all hurling insults at me
>just ignore them and keep walking
>three guys except the driver get out of the car and start threatening me
>one pushes me to the ground
>all because I ignored them
>they say some more insults, jump back in their car and take off
I've got a million stories of random people abusing me on the street. I guess I'm half asking for it because I'm obese though.
>>37123525
kinda depends on where you live. personally i'm in a non-ghetto area of midwest america so there's not any litter just because no one other than me ever uses the sidewalks anyway. i
>>37123572
I'm fit but I live in the country where there are drunks driving everywhere.
>out walking on a long stretch of road next to cornfields
>car flies past me doing what seemed like 100 mph
>few mins later he comes from the way he came from and slows down and the passenger throws a few eggs at me
>I pull out my cz Rami that I ccw and fire a few rounds into the air
>they start swearing and screaming while burning out
>they speed off
They only hit my shoes and lower leg with the eggs. I probably got them to shit themselves and I doubt they do something like that again.
>>37122767
>what is university
>what is having enough self-respect not to work in fast food
I used to enjoy things like this but I am too afraid to leave my apartment now and spending too much time away makes my anxiety go through the roof.
>>37123132
Holy shit, that's aesthetic as hell.
Nice work homie
>>37123514
you're much more likely to get yelled at in smaller towns than in big cities
small town idiots have nothing better to do than drive around in their parents cars and yell out the window. this is how teenagers have to have fun when there is literally nothing else to do
source: lived in the midwest once
>car breaks down
>gotta walk to work from now on
>tonight is my first nightwalk, gotta walk home at 3 am after we close down
>qt at work offered to sell me some weed tomorrow
>3 weeks until I move to idaho
I'll snap some photos for you guys. heres hoping i dont get raped.
A few years ago I dropped a tab of 150ug lsd and went for a nightwalk, sat on top of a hill tripping my ass off and rolled a spliff.
>>37125869
a few days ago*
FUCKFUCKFUCKFUFKCUFKCUFKCUFKCUFKC RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>tfw feel like i'm a part of normal society when I walk at night and imagine that people think i'm heading to or leaving a party
>>37125869
Are you not capable of enjoying the still of the night without the use of drugs?
Genuinely curious.
>>37126050
Of course, just small scare meetings wih very few people. Doing hallucinagenics is pretty much a rarity. Besides this night a few days back was the first time I tripped alone. It was awsome.
>walk to the local metropark when it starts getting dark
>there's a huge pond, can hear geese and frogs surrounding you
>there are fishing piers that outstretch up to 100 feet into the pond, go out there and relax
>surrounded by woods with plenty of looping trails i can walk around in, no normies in sight
I go jogging and walking during night, mostly because I can't stand the summer heat.
>>37125833
Idaho here, the mountain time side sucks way worse than the chill pacific time panhandle area. Both will suck without easy access to Washington or Oregon since legal weed never.
Post nightwalk photos
>>37129718
damn... reminds me of an area in a town I used to walk thru.... 3am and it was me and a huge empty town dead. Some of my most comfy moments feeling alone in a huge city.
>>37123132
That looks cool as hell. Is that a big scary stranger walking towards the camera or is that you?
>>37124289
you're on /r9k/ man, there is no such thing as self respect here
>>37129805
>Alone in a huge city,
No better feeling desu, Gook needs to up the imagine size limit
>>37122664
Here's some night walk music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1xHnExn9Ks
literally "Night Walk"
and it's one of the best things to do during the summer, or all year-round really. Riding a bike around at night is even more comfy.
>cool, but still warm enough, that you can walk around in a hoodie
>almost no car traffic
>virtually no foot traffic
>don't have to dodge cars and hit the brakes for a pack of normies that are occupying both lanes of a bike path
>don't have to autistically hide behind sunglasses
>have specific "night music"
>often take my headphones off and just listen to the various night sounds like the highway off in the faraway distance, nearby crickets,, wind going through leaves
>the comfy glow of orange-yellow streets light
>feel alive

here you go, orig pic

>don mills toronto
wow op, i grew up there. i went to windfields and dunlace public highschool. the only good memories in my life are with friendswhen i had themat the plaza at leslie and york mills. good times... i remember those summers in elementary school with rose tinted glasses
fuck.... now im just a mentally disabaled kv neet on bux. i live in scarborough right now, its garbo but my living situation is good
i too take regular nightwalks
toronto is probably the most robot city in the world. its the most feminist, most anti-white male city in the world, i think.
>>37125247
Thank you ! Here's another picture I took where I went on holiday this summer, at around 5:30 am, I think. Night walks on the beach are even better than the ones I do usually.
>>37129818
A stranger. He was actually walking away from me, but then he heard the sound of my phone taking the picture, and turned back. Thankfully he wasn't aggressive or anything, just pretty drunk.
>>37130975
Another nice one. What kind of camera do you shoot with? I don't think I can take good shots with a shitty cell phone camera late at night.
>>37131661
Just an iPod 6. I don't know much about photography, but the camera seems surprisingly not too bad to me.
Here's another picture, this one taken during a hike, also this summer.
nightwalk bump
