>>
>>37091054
>3.76 by the time college application season rolled around, enough to round to 3.8 on certain forms
>hella extracurriculars like swimming, model UN, digital art club, community service
>president of digital art club, student co-leader of charity group, active member of National Honors Society
>abnormally high SAT scores for someone with my grades (slacked in many of my classes, but focused during the standardized tests)
>good essays and recommendations
>accepted into 4 of the top 10 undergrad business schools in the nation
>currently 3.5, casually involved in a bunch of student clubs
>internship on Wall Street lined up for this summer, probably going to study abroad in London 2nd semester of next year

Feels good knowing I'm a future member of the global elite.

Unless your state school was UCLA, UC Berkeley, U Michigan or U Virginia, no. Most state schools are mediocre.

>4.3 in high school (AP classes were weighted)
>went to a solid, but not elite college. My parents made too much for me to get financial aid, but not enough to actually help me pay for anything
>went to top-10 law school
>now have lots of debt (from grad school, undergrad was relatively cheap), but I'm paying it off relatively quickly. I don't regret getting in debt to go to a top law school because I make tons of money and was able to do a clerkship, which I enjoyed

I went to Duke for law school. I loved it. Some of the undergrads are pricks, just like at any elite school (or any school), but overall the schools great. NC is a nice place to live/go to school. Low cost of living, good weather, green. Basketball games are fun. I'd go even if you aren't a huge sports person. Cameron is great.
