The decision you should be unhappy about is thinking in terms of a monthly payment. You should think in terms of the total purchase price. Now you're locked into a loan (or, far worse, a lease) and have to keep working to keep making regular payments. Which means you're locked into your job. For several years.

Remember anon, your car is the single most important utility in your life - without it you couldn't work or do any sort of business.

As a car sales fag though, I have to tell ya, never finance a new car UNLESS they have a ridiculous amount if rebates, which is usually on the previous model year and only certain months. I missed my chance to get $6500 off a new fiesta st which I could sell in 2 years for almost the same price I bought it for! Other than that, you should lease.

The best thing to do in my opinion is to by 30,000-50,000 mile 3-4 year old certified luxury cars. Luxury vehicles depreciate much quicker than regular, and luxury certifications almost always include an additional 2-3 year warranty on top of factory (normally 4 years). This means you'll have 2-3 years of warranty coverage, and a brand new one that starts at $40,000 will probably be in the low to mid $20,000 range.

When you sell it down the line in a few years you will have lost minimal depreciation since luxury cars drop hard at the beginning and level out very quickly at their bottom barrel price point.

If not just pay more each month and pay the car off quickly. Even if you pay $1,000 per month you can pay it off in a year. The $195 is basically the minimum amount that you can pay (this is how dumb niggers can afford to drive brand new Lexus's and Mercedes with 28" rims). Only you're not a dumb nigger that goes to "rent a wheel" and ends up trading the car in owing $50,000 on it or getting it repo'ed

Be smart and just pay it off quick! You will have it paid off within a year or less and no longer be a debt cuck.

Anyways, like the other anon said, don't pay the minimum payment. If your interest rate is low pay an extra $100/month. If it is high then pay it off ASAP.

Thing is you can sell the car if you still owe money on it or trade it in. It's just better to have some equity built into it, like a house aka having paid off more than it's worth.

The best thing to do if your interest rate is lower than 3% then just pay an extra $100/month, or even an extra $300/month the first few months since interest is front loaded in a loan (you pay the most interest in the first few months and then less as it goes on, so if it's $195 you may pay $50 of interest and only $145 towards the car your first month, then the next month you'll pay $45 in interest, but you're getting fucked paying off the car!)


Anyways, I'm financing an s2000 for $370/month since I got a super low interest rate and I needed to build credit. Got no regrets since I can already sell it for more than I owe on it.
