I work at an airport and my boss (like big boss who no one ever sees) was flying out. So after everyone was boarded and we were waiting for pushback, I wanted to call my coworker/friend who has the same name and I ended up calling my boss instead

(I was just texting my friend about me waiving luggage fees but was too lazy to finish texting so I called and started with that instead"

At this point I looked at the name and oh shit oh shit oh shit I was going to hang up but I think he has my number because he texted me once about a work related matter.

I'm really embarrassed. I haven't had an embarrassing moment like this in a long time, probably not since middle school. How can I get over this? I'm cringing so hard

I used to get lots of these calls. Worst ones were when the people calling were insisting that they got the right number.
