When I used to be a serious alcoholic who couldn't have off days I'd drink at least a pint of vodka plus as many beers as I could find a day. Probably averaged at 600ml of 40% ABV spirits per day for months.
Somehow I've managed to control my habit with age

I don't even get drunk anymore like I used to. I don't get any of the euphoria or nice feeling, no matter how much I drink. I just feel tired. I think my brain is permanently adapted.

It's called tolerance bro, alcohol only causes the happy feel good effect when you're in established spells of having a couple or few drinks no more than once a week.

Why aren't more robots having some alcohol on Friday evening? Or are you all American?
