Yeah man go for it. I so wish I could benfit from nepotism. My uncle got my brother a job and I'm so envious. I asked him if he could get me an interview but he said I'm too dumb for the job.

Get your brother to give you example questions and come up with answers for them. Remember these, and be ready to fabricate answers for questions which haven't come up. Answer in a way which makes you seem as desirable, hardworking, dedicated etc. as possible. You'll do just fine anon. Godspeed.

I was thinking of writing out answers to every single "generic" interview question I can find on the Internet. And then I would have to hope every question they asked me was one I prepared for
But then I would have to remember it all for the in person interview, which might be manageable

Yeah man good idea. Try to think of say your answers out loud as soon as you see the question before you write them on the paper, because that'll help you practice coming up with answers on the fly. Good luck again OP.

I'm actually pretty knowledgeable when it comes to WAN technologies. My only claim to fame is I once wrote to Cisco pointing out an error in one of their books and they fixed it in the next revision.
At least technical questions do not flare up my awkwardness. It's never the technical part of the interview I falter in, it's always the parts where they ask about your personality.
