I can block out the feels, but it's not good. You end up not feeling anything. It's all or nothing. For example, you stop feeling empathy, you stop feeling happneis. You become a broken soul with no purpose.

Emotions keep people moving, and not just as incentive, different types of action require different resources in different body parts, and emotions are just that, changes of blood and chemical flow in your body and brain.
