Fellow NEETs, I've been studying history in my spare time and I've taken quite an interest in that of ancient Egypt. It's really quite fascinating!
My question is where do NEETs fit into this?
As you can see the bottom contains the farmers/slaves which today would be known as wageslaves.
Then the second-most bottom quadrant is craftsmen, then scribes and soldiers, then priests and nobles, then the vizier, and finally the pharaoh.
Where would our ancestors fit in this totem pole?

That's the Aztec social structure you absolute dingus.
Doesn't look Egyptian to me at all, nice poke at the we wuz meme though. They are too stupid to notice that it doesn't look Egyptian.
Neets would fall in the noble or philosopher castes. The political leaders are beneath us but we allow them to think they are at the top to protect their ego, can't have them attacking us in a wagie ragie hissy fit. That's not comfy.

No. It is the Mayan social structure.
They literally wouldn't exist. There's no such thing as a NEET in any time period other than right now.

Genuinely disappointed that your post began with ancient Egypt and did not somehow end in this fashion.
