Which would you chose?

For me money
>2017
>still believing in love
>>
>>36920452
Money can buy you happiness
>>
Of fucking course money.
>>
>>36920452
Everyone would choose money. Normies have no self-awareness and always lie on surveys, often unconsciously.
>>
Money all the way.
Money cannot fail me. A woman can in infinite ways.

Not to mention the common catchphrase used by women today :
>"i'm sorry guys but love is not eternal"
>>
Money would solve hundreds of my problems
Love would solve 1
>>
Money because love hurts tbqh

I can always just love myself
>>
Love comes and goes but as long as you invest well and are not retarded you can stay rich forever.
>>
>>36920490
Bout won't you feel empty after a while? Money doesn't cure autism and if you think about it, no one actually cares that you have that money. Any friends you make won't like you for who you are, they just like your money. The same goes for relationships.
>>
Money obviously.

Rather be rich and lonely than Piss poor and in Love.
>>
>>36920452
>tfw hopeless romantic

would choose love tee bee aych
>>
>>36920535
You're asking lonely people about their choice here.

Normies excluded, I already :
- don't have any friends
- have a lonely life
- am poor as fuck but get by with some hobbies
I don't care about getting friends anymore but getting money would definitely improve my life by 1000%.
>>
>>36920535
I already feel empty now because i have no money and have no prospects making any.
Money is the master key to life the more you have the better it gets the less you have the greater your ignorance grows and the more you appreciate worthless garbage and lie to yourself about being stuck in the same pathetic rut.
>>
Did you see that maid thread the other day? With enough money you can practically buy love. Yeah it will most likely be one sided, but if your getting your dick wet on the regular, does it matter that much?
>>
>>36920452
a more interesting question is which would you eliminate from the world
>>
>>36920535
If anything, money gives you the ability to not need to wageslave ie. trading away 2/3 of your waking life.
If that isn't a good thing, I don't know what is.
>>
Love, so long as it's genuine and will last
>>
>>36920452
>>still believing in love
You're being offered it hypothetically.
If you doubt it can be found regularly, then that makes this magic hypothetical certainty of getting it much more rare than getting money, which you could maybe do mundanely.
>>
Money can buy happiness and love. Love doesn't do much of anything. I go with money.
>>
>>36920535
I don't need anyone else to care if I have money. It's my money and I care that I have it, that's what is important.
>>
Money, I could give a fk about love if I have money. Hell i'll pay someone to fake it i don't give a fuck. Not having to work and still have the financial needs to do w.e you want is an measurable blessing. I'll just travel all day and Vlog about how great my life is while normies return from a hard days work exhausted only to open facebook and envy my lifestyle.
>>
>>36920452
Money.

The "rich but alone and depressed" stereotype is bullshit.

Being wealthy might not make you happy but not being wealthy is a source of unhappiness. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
>>
>>36921308

if being wealthy doesn't make you happy then nothing will. literally no reason to live.
>>
>>36920452
love is frail and chemical, but if i could have a partner that would always stay with me and be perfect for me regardless of how i change, i would take it

that's a near impossible thing to have, getting rich is easy if you're motivated and smart enough
>>
I've had my share of loving relationships. But love fades and women aren't willing to work at a relationship. I'd take the money.
>>
>>36920452
Love
I can work for money.
True love though, that's really rare.
>>
Money has practical value, chemical reactions in your mind don't.
I'm not too wrapped up in either, but I'd much rather have something that I could actually use to work towards something else I am passionate about.

The "money doesn't buy happiness" meme was just created to make poor people feel better. Of course money can buy happiness. I wouldn't have to worry about debt or bills ever again, and could fulfill my hobbies whenever I please. Fuck I wish I had money
>>
>>36920490
>Money can buy you happiness
Just ask what kind of happiness Melania or Trump have.

Trump seems desperate for people to like him, all the 'elites' and Hollywood hate his guts and it really bugs him.

I would give up both money and love it it meant finding happiness.
>>
>>36920452

>>
Love. Getting money is easy, getting love is a fucking RNG
>>
>>36923404
That's because they're obsessed with fame and power. Honestly, they're a bit dense for not seeing this coming.
>>
>>36923404
If you think happiness and slaving away 2/3 of your life in a dead end job just to pay the bills are compatible, be my guest.
>>
>>36923499
I think its beyond just fame, he wants adoration.

But going back on topic, I have more money than I did last year or the years before, but yet I don't feel any happier.
Many of you might be better off today then you were a year ago, are you happier for it ?

Lots of other shit ends up worrying you instead, instead of bills it ends up being family issues that money can't resolve.
>>
>>36920452
Anyone saying "love" is retarded.
You choose money and money can buy you love.

And no, the thousands of replies from lonely fucking impoverished losers saying "UH BUT DAS NOT TRU LOVE THO!!!!" are all fucking wrong. Every human interaction is fundamentally shallow in some capacity. There is no such thing as a truly altruistic interaction. Every person gets something out of every relationship they maintain. Your "true love" wouldn't "love" you very much if you had 1 leg, a rotten infected penis, no money or job, and an annoying personality.

If you talk to TrueLoveFags they seem to believe that people just walk up to you, look at you, and then say "I am in love with ur soul" and then it's happy marriage everlasting. That shit does not fucking happen. When people decide to date you they take into account many different reasons, such as how physically beautiful you are, what your job prospects are, how nice you are as a person, how entertaining you are, how healthy your habits are, how responsible you are. There is no such thing as baseless true love that takes into account nothing from the real world.

Knowing this, if you could choose to have "Money" and simply work on a small number of other aspects of your life (that money could invariably help you with), it would not be very hard at all to find someone who "loves" you.

Meanwhile, if you choose "Love," you will only have more problems in your life without money, you will be even more impoverished than you were before as you attempt to support 2 people and not just 1, and eventually that love will probably fall apart due to stresses and responsibilities of life.

If you were to recieve 5 million tomorrow, your life would definetly change.

>feel dead inside
>go to sleep
>dream I was walking around a lake with my 2/10 female friend, she was my gf

>didn't feel the usual intense bitterness/aggression
>we were hugging on a bench (i think, hard to remember)

love.

I would choose love every time.
>>
>>36923855
>If you were to recieve 5 million tomorrow, your life would definetly change.
and chances are that in a year or two times, my level of over all happiness would remain the same.
Even if I didn't blow all the money on dumb shit.

Rich people have killed themselves before.
I am not saying money will not make your life easier, yeah sure some worries will go away, but then other things will worry you.
>>
>>36920452
What if I love money?
>>

>Every human interaction is fundamentally shallow in some capacity.
This does not mean every human interaction is equally shallow. This is throwing the baby out with the bath water.
>Your "true love" wouldn't "love" you very much if you had 1 leg, a rotten infected penis, no money or job, and an annoying personality.
I have never met someone who believed in love needed to be completely without conditions. Again, baby, bath water.
>an annoying personality.
I have never met someone who believed in love who considered personality to be above criticism. The personality is typically the bit you're supposed to be in love with.

Of course if you define love as "an attachment based on absolutely nothing that is completely without conditions and cannot be broken by anything at all", you'll come to the conclusion that it doesn't exist, because you've stacked the fucking deck. I could do the exact same thing in reverse, define money as "Something with eternal undying innate value across all possible cultures and societies, completely unrelated to it's physical attributes", declare everything that doesn't conform to that absurd standard to be worthless and strut around pretending I've proven all the "MoneyFags" wrong.

I, and the other "TrueLoveFags", simply believe that loyalty does actually exist. I don't believe my attraction to my partner is transcendent, I don't believe that if they tried to stab me in the neck I'd stay with them, I don't believe that there aren't shallow considerations in my attraction to them (such as their physical attractiveness). I simply believe that I am a functioning human being capable of not being a piece of shit and stabbing them in the back, even if I could technically "do better". That's it.
>>
>62% of faggot normies lying to themselves.
>>
>>36920452
easy choice money all the way. you can buy love at the grocery store.
>>
>>36924127
>I, and the other "TrueLoveFags", simply believe that loyalty does actually exist. Then you are admitting that your definition of love is not very rare or hard to obtain and all you need to a few good factors going on in your life to be able to find someone who will fulfill that vision.

In the end you are just saying I'm right. If you have a shit ton of money, an average style, average personality, and decent taste in movies there are thousands of people out there who would "be loyal" to you.
>>
love. i think materialism is a bad trait. i've been homeless for neatly a year and surr there were times when i hated the situation i was in but looking vack at it it wasn't so bad.

the feeling of being in love and being loved feels good, i want love.
>>
>>36924639
My definition is somebody who will stick with you even if your health or wealth or whatever else goes to shit, because they like your personality. My definition is the fact that I will not leave my partner, no matter how many hours she spends screaming the roof down on one of her autistic meltdowns because I enjoy her company too much and even when I don't I feel a responsibility to her.
>>
>>36920452
Fuck dude, money all the way.
Literally all i want is a good guitar and a good amp and some loud ass fleshlight wont help me get that
>>
Money.

Love doesn't exist and I have zero desire to form a long lasting relationship with a modern female.

Lots of money will make my life infinitely better and stress free. Women will just make my already stressful life even more so.
>>
>>36920452

I already have enough money to be out of poverty, but I am poor in love.

Anyone who says money is just trying to be edgy.
>>
>>36920452
dumb, dumb OP
>if you could have one of these
even if love doesn't exist, this assumes I will get it and it will be perfect, not like the ugly roasties of today. I'll be the only one with love in this world.
I can work for money.
>>
>>36924909
>Anyone who says money is just trying to be edgy.
I didn't know being practical was now an edgy characteristic.
>>
>>36923950
Normie here, I can help you get a GF if you could help me out financially.
>>
>>36920452
This doesn't specify how much of what you choose you get or what specifically you love. We could be talking about choosing between $20 and falling in love with a tortoise here. With a question as open to failure as that I feel like money is the safest bet
>>
>>36920522
You haven't lived to see money fail you.
Money fails every time.
>>
Money can get you love but love will never get you money (unless you make amateur porn and make people pay for it, but then you a cuck no doubt)

that isn't even factual. just spewing normie bullshit.
>>
Love is the single element of the world.

Suffering the same fate of being lonely and dead inside but not having money to at least buy shit I want.
Money won't improve your social situation no matter what but at least you can get materialistic stuff you want giving you at least a little bit of happiness.
>>
>>36920452
It's pretty hard for me to be disoriented in any form. Even when I'm almost unable to walk from the alcohol I can draw you a map of where I live, explain how to get there, recite my mom's phone number etc.
The mind is the last to go.

The children in this photo don't have much going for them compared to us here in the developed world, but you can see the pure happiness glistening from their eyes.

If money really leads to happiness, then how are these people so joyful?
