i work in Mcdonalds in Las Vegas and it's busy 24/7. our graveyard rush comes at 2-5am because that's when all the clubs in the casinos close. we should be making 15$ an hour, we charge like double because it's the Strip.

we also have to deal with tourists who don't speak english, drunks and have stand-in, 24/7 security because we need protection from mobs.

But this is all kind of moot anyways; the future of fast food is less workers. Quality is much less a concern than efficiency so we can expect more automation to take most of these jobs before a company lowers its profit margins because it's ununionized, low-skilled laborers are getting grumbly
