It's not quite as severe as other disabilities but it is severe enough to permanently impair any ability to perform most jobs. For me, I get extremely aggressive with my co-workers and supervisors in the past, so much that it eventually lead to me being fired for hitting my supervisor in his face and having security escort me out. I get severe migraines when I am forced to interact with other people. So yes, it is severe enough that it impairs my ability to work, or to perform any type of work that will provide a liveable wage for myself.
