What's the workload like for university
Don't say a lot or way worse than highschool be specific

My classes are heavily geared toward writing, so there are a few templates to work from. So far I've seen:
Template 1:
Big weekly reading assignments with either required notes or question and answer segments
Two exams, one midterm, one final
One essay, about 8 pages minimum
Template 2:
Same as Template 1 except exams and single paper are replaced with two papers of slightly longer length
Template 3:
3 big essays (12 pages each on average)
2 group presentations
weekly discussion board participation, along with some small assignment

Uni is pretty easy desu if you're not some idiot that'll completely disregard their workload. I think it was even less work than high school.

OK so what subject(s) did u do
I plan on going into finance

I was computer science. I ended up dropping out after 2.5 years due to some things but before that I was all good (dean's list, some extracurricular club activities, etc). I wish I would have switched majors to finance when I had the chance desu.

You have to do three presentations, write five papers, and read four books to pass university. That's all

You dropped out before taking any of the hard classes. College is only hard when you get to the upper level classes in your major (and some majors). I'd say only 3 or 4 of my classes were actually hard throughout all four years.

Finance (and most business majors) are heavily geared towards bit tests (usually short-answer style math questions) and online homework. I'm not a business major but that's what I've seen from my friends.
Liberal arts is all over the place. Some have homework, most don't (other than reading). Some have quizzes, some don't. Some have 2-3 papers that are like 4 pages long, others are 2 papers between 10-20 pages.
Professor's style of grading is incredibly varied (one of my classes has 60 percent of grade based on weekly quizzes) while one of my classes last year was 2 papers (20 pgs each) each worth 50% of the grade

this is about right for social sciences

Work load depends on what major you pick.
Another question
Does the work get harder each year or

Yeah. I'm bullshitting my way through the theoretical crap so I can get my degree and go do technical writing for subjects I actually care about.
The people who say colleges actively encourage Marxism are absolutely correct btw. Unfortunately he's one of the biggest influences on the topic itself, so it's no wonder students turn out the way they do these days.
Depends what your field is. I study physics and a typical day I arrive at uni at 8:00 am and leave around 9:00 pm while spending pretty much the whole day studying, going to class, and doing homeworks (bear in mind that's a typical day, not during midterms or finals where getting 6 hours of sleep and two meals can be an achievements). People studying humanities have a non-existant work load compared, I got an A+ at a philosophy course by only attending class, doing a single ten pages essay, and an exam.

Holy shit that sounds miserable. I'm so happy I'm too dumb for STEM
