Who else /hearing loss here/ ?
>tfw 30% deaf in left ear
>tinnitus in both
>always have to ask someone to repeat what they said
>mishearing words a lot
not deaf or hearing disability but for some reason I can't understand what people are saying 80% of the time

We can be together anon
I've had tinnitus since birth
I have minor hearing loss but it's gotten worse over time. It's still pretty insignificant but I think it will get to a point where I should actually care eventually. I also have tinnitus.

ya tinnitus here too m8, you have meniere's syndrome or anything? males in my family seem to be shackled with it, sucks.

Same, my anonimus friend, samd
>>36884602
Same here mate. Its so painful to finally be talking with someone but then not understanding them and constantly asking them to repeat themselves and look like a retard
>>36884619
me too, grew up thinking it's a normal thing and it still feels normal to me even to this day
>talking to someone
>can't even hear the words they're saying
>can only briefly make out the cadence of their voice
>laugh at the end of sentences and pray to the good lord in heaven above they didn't ask a question
Not really that bad of hearing loss but
>HS
>Swimming for PE
>go underwater
>some kid kicks me in the head (by accident)
>hit in the side of the head
>he says sorry, and ask if i'm okay
>feel fine
>get picked up from school
>tell mom what happened
>tell her my ear hurts a bit
>she thinks it's swimmers ear
>goes to pharmacy on way home
>gets meds
>pours in my ear...
>worst pain i've felt in a while
>felt like someone was lighting the inside of my ear on fire
>scream in agony
>turns out the kick burst my eardrum open, and my mom accidentally poured shit down it
Seriously though, that HURT.

I only have tinnitus on both ears and it's quite strong but I've had it for so long I only notice it at night when it's quite or when I make an effort to notice it.
Some people I know acquired it recently and it's driving them crazy. I told them to relax, they'll get used to it eventually.

Had tinnitus since I was about 11. You get used to it but damn if it doesn't feel restrictive sometimes.

She/He has a long neck
Same as OP. My response to everything is "huuh?" "what?".
>>36884751
Yeah its probably autism
Sorry to hear OP. Who here has seen or read Koe No Katachi??? It is a hidden gem.
Anyone else sort of like the deafened world? I wear hearing aids and i don't understand how people deal with all that shit. It overwhelms me how loud everything is.
