First appointment with psychiatrist tomorrow. Its 75 excruciating

75 minutes is rough, mine were 45 mins. If you've ever seen a counselor, it's pretty much the same deal, explain your problems, they'll listen and try to offer simple advice at first and then get into medication. It's more of a doctor's appointment then anything. My 2 visits to a psychiatrist turned out to be incredibly helpful for my anxiety,

Don't lie about your problems at all. Like at all. Theyve heard everything so there's no need to be embarrased. The worst thing you could do is lie/exaggerate how little your problem is, and be prescribed some bullshit prescription that won't help you, resulting in more appointments.

That's the thing. I got the referral from my doctor after being in a deep depression for about two years, but it comes and goes. I'll have good months and terrible months but right now I'm feeling good. Don't know what he's supposed to do in that situation.
