I was the same way when I was very new to anime. While I am still pretty inexperienced, having only watched a bit over 120 animes, the attachment to shows began to fade after I watched more and more shows. The closest thing I experience now is being fixated on a show after I finished watching it, but that is easily cleared up by watching something else or waiting a couple days. Everything will be daijoubu.
