I'm not the guy, but I personally like the canaries, especially la gomera. Was there when I was 18, it's literally paradise. It's quiet, traditional, the food is extraordinary good and cheap, the beaches and the whole nature are beautiful to the point that I some times thought I'm hallucinating.
