If you live in an apartment there is probably an air filter for your unit that you need to replace every month.

Some people go years without changing it and the dust in their apartment is horrible.

Pour a little bleach (as in, a couple tablespoons - just eyeball it) in the toilet bowl and scrub it with a toilet brush.

Put the lid down and wait awhile.

Lift it back up and scrub again.

Bam. Clean toilet.

Dust/sweep/vacuum at the end of every week if you're bored. I never do.
