Are any robots in the military? I'm in the U.S. and I'm wondering what kind of jobs someone with a Computer Science degree could get in the different branches. Also general military thread because I'd like to hear stories.

I'm wondering this to. I want to get a cs degree and then join as an officer for the chairforce because it sounds comfy. I also wanna get stationed in Japan though.

My uncle went to Japan in the marines and said it was great. I'm wondering if knowing a certain language might affect where you are stationed.
I give myself the honor of one original bump to hopefully have my question answered.

I'm guessing either the Air Force or the navy because you're supposedly better suited to understanding how computerized flight/sailing equipment works. Probably the former

Yeah I might just look into Navy because I really like ships and the ocean. Was thinking about Marines because my father was in it, but not too sure about the opportunities to learn more there.

I am pretty sure the navy employs virtually all officers in Japan
If you want to be stationed in Japan, Navy might be a better option

What really? Why the fuck do they do that? If I go in as an officer do I have a good chance of being on a ship often?
