I get really bad anxiety when I go to anime cons now. Too many people and seeing all these groups of friends being happy and enjoying it. I have to hold back my tears. I can really only stay in the anime viewing rooms which are nice and dark.

Cyborg/failed normie here. I've never experienced the joy of con sex. Have had a lot of sloppy makeouts and saw a couple stripteases though.

Though this was in the early/mid 00's when conventions were still for geeks. Now they're a bit too crowded, over-chaperoned, corporate, and lifeless from what I heard.

I went to a convention with a friend of mine who was 7 years younger.

I told him that since I'm 27 and he's 20 he should try and be more approachable and enjoy what has become prevalent that I missed my chance on.

There's only a tiny one in my city. The bigger one is 3 hours away. I don't think there's much hope for picking up cosplay sluts, and I'm not sure it's worth the $10 or $15 to go in and check. I think every con is like that. If there was food being sold, I'd go just to get some Asian food, but there wasn't any at the small one. There is a game tournament, but it's just Super Smash Brothers and I don't play that. I don't think there are other game tournaments there.
