The bar for a woman to be unwanted by men is a lot lower than the bar below which a man is unwanted by women. You have to be ugly or obese or really crazy. Whereas with men it's enough to just be kind of socially isolated or unimposing. These women are less visible because instead of coming to post on 4chan or reddit they are probably crying while telling their bff about how they can't get a boyfriend.
