I'm glad you mentioned taking my advice about trying out new medicine in the other thread, Rem-chan. Prozac's an ancient medicine that actually exacerbates PTSD symptoms. Paxil and Zoloft are the only two medicines specifically approved for PTSD, though I'm reluctant to recommend Paxil considering the damage it caused me. Zoloft might be be a better option.

Didn't say I had the disorder. Also, PTSD isn't war-exclusive. The term that applies exclusively to war is shellshock, which refers to soldiers completely checking out in the midst of battle. PTSD refers to something very different, the impaired-but-potentially-functional state that someone's in after a trauma is long over.

Only because I can be alone there and cry without anyone seeing me. Sometimes I cry in my room and then get up and go to the bathroom to blow my nose and wash my face, then I just get back into bed cry some more and by that point I'm too tired to get up again so I just lay in my tears and snot.
