I went 9 days without showering/changing clothes once when I was really depressed. I was trying to come to terms with severe health issues and abuse.

I think getting to such a low point eventually helped me, I shower every day now except once a week as a day off. I start to feel uncomfortable when I don't shower for a bit now, feeling clean makes you feel good.
