my mom is from lima, I live in burgerland. fine, what exactly do you wanna know? you can feed yourself pretty inexpensively. it's not as cheap as those jungle asian countries but you can spend between 6-10 bucks on a meal and get an assload of food and some booze too. if you drink a lot then you'll obviously need more money. the cheapest beer you'll find is probably Cristal or Pilsen. if you're a tall white guy, you'll be popular with the women. I have no idea how easy they are
