Yeah, I can relate pretty well to the poverty childhood.

>grades are always failing, have no motivation to do homework even though I ace every test they give, parents bitch, teachers bitch, nothing comes of it, just pass me along so they don't have to deal with me anymore

Growing up poor sucks, if you're below a certain income level, having kids should be fucking illegal. I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Especially when the parents are stupid as fuck besides being poor.

Growing up wasn't too terrible, life wasn't extravagant but relatively comfy. Then late 2007- early 2008 happened, almost lost the house a few times and now my parents are most likely in permadebt because of blowing money on stupid shit or getting loans that they'll never be able to pay back, with a dose of having 2 more children for some reason in 2008 and 2009. Funnily enough I still think of 2007 as being a rather cool year. But fuck me was that a bitch to deal with. Getting our water or whatever shut off tended to be a regular thing every 6 or so months. Hell I considered an HP Pavillion laptop to be top tier shit back in 2011.
