Easy because I feel shitty, "dry brained" and have insomnia even just 2 light drinks, and since the good feeling of being buzzed is short lived and closely followed by a strong shitty feeling, I resist the allure of alcohol usually and rarely drink more than a glass of wine.

However, I am prone to lots of sugar, masturbation and gambling binges because there is delay between feeling shitty afterwards and its not as bad as your body after subjecting it with alcohol.

I'm an alcoholic too and I try to just distract myself with tv or reading and try not to think about booze.

It honestly hasn't been working well lately.

Youre going through alcohol withdrawals. You can take a shot to calm your nerves, but that also puts you on the fast track severe addiction if you keep doing it.
Thats not a road you want to go down.
