Sup robots, I'm a FOH manager at a nice restaurant and do all the interviews for FOH. Ask away what I and others alike look for. Also Im 26, make 36k a year, and work along side 30ish normie waitresses throughout the week

>what are your weakness's?
>why do you want this job?
>what do you bring to the team/work force/ company?
do you normies really expect serious answers on these?
>>36710949
No, just want to see how you react to a fucking stupid question. You'll be getting them from me and your customers a lot.

I don't ask those cliche questions. I talk to them like a normal human being, ask if they've ate at our restaurant before, if so what did they get, talk about the history of the restaurant, etc. Do whatever I can to make them feel comfortable so they relax and show some character and personality. That's what I'm judging. That and their appearance.
A huge factor in an interview is what you wear. Put on a fucking tie, even if you're applying to be a busser. And know the position you want. Don't say "I can do anything; cook, wait tables, etc". Go to your interview knowing what you want.
And ignore that sperg above
That guide is 80% good advice, 20% trash.
>light blue shirt with black pants
Never do this.
Anyway, OP, do you ever have people who are bored and overqualified apply to work in your restaurant?
I make tons of cash as a software developer but I've occasionally thought about doing weekend shifts at some retail job just for kicks.

Nah, not anyone who already has a job. There are a several waitresses in school though and a few of them are very smart and definitely won't be waiting tables in a few years.

100% chance those waitresses make more than you.
Also 36k for a restaurant manager? You manage a Wendy's or something?
