There are two controversies regarding mkbhd I know about:
1) iPhone screen fake news - he made a video about a possible iPhone 6 screen made of sapphire crystal, this turned out not to be real, which he presented as such. Bad journalism desu yo.
2) Sony fallout - he had some issue with sony electronics company where they wouldn't give him a test copy of their phones or something, so he just doesn't review their phones now. Since his job is to talk about android phones it's a pretty big omission to just not talk about their devices
