Most people have literally had nothing significantly bad happen to you.

Then again though, most normies haven't had good things happen to them either. They sorta just skate by in a slightly elevated state until their mate breaks up with them, or they get fired, in which case they meet up with their friends and do terrible, barely recreational drugs and somehow recover in 3 days.
