Does having a sister teach you how to successfully interact with

I have a big sister who loves me and vice-versa but I can tell that she probably thinks I'm a little weird sometimes. Can't say that she actually helped me to successfully interact with females either.

My sister is very social and intelligent, and much older than me.
I barely spoke with her as a child and ever since I moved out (two years ago) I haven't messaged her once. She's tried to contact me a few times but I feel uncomfortable talking to her.
