You get job offers by making contacts aka nepotism. You didn't think you were going to get a job on merit alone did you? Get a lowly position and work your way up the ladder by sucking some dick. Once your boss knows you give the best head in your department he'll use his power to put your application for that high paying position above everyone else. You can worry about competence one you actually have the job.
