Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is one of my favorite movies actually, I always get weird looks when I say I think its better than Old Boy. Mr. Vengeance is probably the weakest of the three overall I think but still damn good.

That's certainly more of an opinion given the slashers that have come out post 2000

Like the earlier Halloween and even their sequals were definitely more horror with a murder happy bent, but like Jason X wouldn't fall under that more classic label. I'd put it up with the RZ movies. Which I like, but I wouldn't classify as horror to any degree other than gore.
