Yeah I'm pretty honest about my flaws, and at least on paper committed to improving, but I have such a hard time getting any better when it comes to the biggest issues, like psychological flaws, like addiction. The only way I've ever made progress is with 'hacks' that prevent me from doing something bad. Like I managed to finally kick alcoholism by getting prescribed a pill that makes alcohol potentially fatal, so now I can't drink without risking instant death. That worked, but there isn't always something like that for every issue in life.
