There's nothing wrong about it.

However, as a 23-year old, I'd have a very hard time dating somebody more than a couple years younger than me. That's not to say I'm particularly mature or well-off, because that's not the case. However, my circumstances have changed a lot since I was a teenager.

I've traveled to dozens of countries, watched a close friend die, lived by myself here in the States and abroad, bought my first vehicle, and worked 70 hour weeks.

I joined a fraternity my sophomore year in university (yeah, fuck you too). I was never really involved with the organization post-pledging, but I do occasionally go to crossings to meet the younger brothers. Even though I'm graduating yet, a lot of the younger guys look up to me for having done a lot of shit in the past few years.

That's a nice feeling, but I also can't connect with most of them on an emotional level. Grew up poor as shit taking baths in a cement trough; I can't fucking relate to most people, how the fuck am I going to relate to an 18 year old?

Also, I know nobody fucking read this. I'm just frustrated with dating right now and wanted to vent.

My mom told me not to delete my facebook and actually tagged me in pictures whenever I was in family photos but one day I decided enough is enough and deleted my facebook anyway. She either didn't notice or didn't care. I think you should try deleting it too, if she complains I think you get a grace period where they'll put your stuff back up if you change your mind.
