Feels good to have money too. I have a nice car, a sick gun collection, I'm looking into buying a dirt bike and a nice house. Employers won't raise wages. They figure that if they're going to pay you a set amount, then they may aswell keep you around for as long as possible.
It gives them the opportunity to send you home early, if everything is done, and not pay you for those hours you didn't work.

Or that's how it is in my situation. If the work is being finished early then they'll send us home early. They won't pay until the end of the day, though. So they basically punish us for working hard.
